Saint Sava Temple - LARGEST CUPOLA ON THE WORLD

Although still under construction, this monumental temple represents an organic part of modern vivid image of Belgrade, being one of its main features.

 

 
Belgrade Arena - AMONG BIGGEST HALLS IN EUROPE

The biggest sport hall in Belgrade, Belgrade Arena is designed as a universal hall for all sport events: basketball, handball, volleyball, tennis, athletics, as ice hall and a hall for cultural events and other programs. The total space it covers is 37,500 sqm. It will have 20,000 seats and a most up-to-date equipment for all program.

 
Avala Mountain Tower - Reconstruction of bombed TV tower

The tower was constructed by architects Ugljesa Bogdanovic and Slobodan Janjic, and engineer Milan Krstic. It`s building started in 1963 and was finished in 1965. It was destroyed on April 29, 1999, by NATO bombardment.

At this time, reconstruction is proceeding by plan. Construction challenge is to built exactly same tower as it was before destruction. more about

 

 

"Universiade Village"  for 25th Summer Universiade in 2009, in Belgrade.

The total investment in this complex will be 200 million Euros and the investor is a joint company owned by the Austrian firm, CEE Investment, and Delta M from Serbia. The total space of the objects in the village will be 200000 square meters and the complex will offer 2100 apartments for 4200 athletes.  Novi Sad Bridges

Eight bridges over the River Danube were destroyed or damaged during NATO's campaign against Yugoslavia in 1999. Three of these bridges were in Novi Sad, the capital of Vojvodina in northern Serbia.

After reconstruction they are still symbol of Novi Sad and Serbia as well.
